Knowledge Park II
Knowledge Park II is the Aqua Line station named by NMRC for the district that includes India Expo Centre & Mart. If an Expo visit is part of the day, plan the venue journey separately from the project appointment.
BEYOND THE STATION
Inspect the route, not just the station name.
A useful metro-led inspection starts before the site visit. Open the current route at the same time of day that staff or customers are likely to travel. Confirm which station exit is relevant, where an auto or cab can stop, and whether the walking route has a continuous and practical approach.
At the project, look at how the last mile meets the building: drop-off, frontage, pedestrian entry, parking entry, service access and wayfinding. A short distance can still be inconvenient if the route crosses a wide road or the entrance is on another side of the plot. A slightly longer route may work better if the approach is direct and active.
Repeat the exercise for at least three user groups: a customer arriving for the first time, an employee travelling daily and a supplier or service vehicle.
